Smell, it turns out, is turning into big business in the sports industry. In recent past the cosmetic market has witnessed some major sports teams launching branded scents and it seems they have been quite lucky in producing a lot of fortune with it.

Recently the US football team Notre Dame announced to have teamed up with the Cloudbreak Group in order to launch their branded scent at the start of the football season: The men’s label will be Gold Eau de Toilette and then Lady Irish Eau de Parfum for women, each sold in a 3.4-ounce bottle.

In regards the lady’s fragrance, it will be dressed in one of the Stölzle standard flacons. Sleek and rectangular, its body has been branded just with the team’s emblem “ND”. The shiny gold writing has been achieved by printing in Stölzle’s British production site.

Both fragrances have been launched in limited edition and are available at high end retailers in the US.

Stölzle Glass Group has 5 European production sites across Europe and is a leader in both custom design and standard glass containers for Prestige and Beauty as well as Healthcare and Consumer. The UK plant in Yorkshire produces mainly Prestige Spirits bottles and high quality containers for the Perfumery and Personal Care markets. A variety of in-house decoration techniques like hot foil blocking and multi-colour spraying are offered to make your product unique.
