Space NK, the British luxury beauty retailer, has expanded further into North America with department store chain Hudson's Bay.
The apothecary-style outlet has been present in the US for more than a decade, but ventured into Canada last year via Hudson's Bay stores in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver.
Now shoppers in Quebec, Alberta and Ontario will be able to purchase Space NK's offering on TheBay.com. Calgary’s Market Mall, Quebec’s CF Carrefour Laval, and the Queen Street flagship in Toronto.
“Space NK at the Bay is an unmatched experience. Customers will discover the most sought-after brands, many of which are new to Canada, complemented by our incredible and expansive beauty assortment,” said Laura Janney, Chief Merchant at The Bay.
More Hudson's Bay locations will roll-out Space NK's shop-in-shop offering throughout 2022.
Space NK announced a collaboration with superstore chain Walmart in March.
Now available in 250 stores, the prestige retailer is working with the supermarket to provide consumers with a mix of mass and luxury goods.
“We have created a proposition for Walmart that we believe will be market-leading called BeautySpaceNK, utilising our years of expertise in this area," said Andy Lightfoot, CEO of Space NK at the time.
In April, Space NK reported that turnover was down 11% to £111m due to the closure of beauty shops during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic.
