Spec-Chem Industry has launched an ascorbic acid-derivative (3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid) with whitening, antioxidant, anti-ageing and anti-inflammation properties.
SpecWhite VCE simultaneously prevents melanin synthesis and accelerates collagen synthesis to a greater degree than pure ascorbic acid.
It also eliminates free radicals and inhibits bacteria to reduce inflammation.
The ingredient is said to be very stable with good dermal penetration, and provides no discolouration.
