New beauty search engine Mira has launched to help consumers find their ideal products.
The platform, which is available online and via the Mira app, allows consumers to compare product recommendations from users with similar skin types, skin tones and aesthetic preferences.
Searches via the site can vary from foundations for oily skin or lip plumping products.
Mira can also be used as an online community for diverse consumers to give their product recommendations and beauty tips.
“We like to think of Mira as the world's most knowledgeable beauty insider in your pocket,” said CEO and co-founder Jay Hack.
“It allows users to ask any beauty questions on their mind and receive answers from real consumers with diverse backgrounds, taking them from beauty consumer to beauty connoisseur.”
According to the brand, it has received financial backing from Unilever Ventures, Founders Fund and Great Oaks Venture Capital.
The app is available to download for iOS or via askmira.com.
