Victoria’s Secret announces US store closures

The lingerie and beauty retailer is facing pressure from shareholders to “improve performance”

Victoria’s Secret owner L Brands has announced it will close 53 Victoria’s Secret US stores by the end of the year - about 4% of the footprint.

It normally closes around 15 outlets a year. 

L Brands also owns teen brand Pink (sold via Victoria’s Secret) and Bath & Body Works.
