James Hartman has been appointed Alastin Skincare’s Chief Commercial Officer.
The brand is relatively new to the market - founded in 2015 - and specialises in skin care products developed by scientists that are said to “reinvigorate, protect, and maintain healthy skin for a lifetime”.
Hartman, Solta Medical’s former VP and General Manager, said: “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to lead Alastin’s commercial organisation as the company leverages its market-disrupting TriHex Technology to expand the physician-dispensed aesthetics industry.
“Minimally invasive rejuvenating procedures are a fast-growing segment of the aesthetics industry and differentiated, efficacious products such as Alastin’s Procedure Enhancement line provide optimal outcomes and reduced downtime for patients while building physicians’ practices and the aesthetic market overall.”
Prior to working ar Solta Medical, he served as Obagi Medical’s VP, Global Marketing and Business Development and served as at Merz Aesthetics’ VP and US Head of Aesthetics & OTC for over five years.
Diane Goostree, President and CEO of Alastin Skincare, added: “We are extremely pleased to have Jim join Alastin as a key member of the executive team to lead our commercialisation activities as we continue the rapid growth of our current products and build our product pipeline.
“Jim’s extensive operating background in the medical aesthetics space, including experience with energy-based rejuvenating devices, is a natural fit for us we as develop and launch new products and expand our sales force.”
