Albéa acquires Eyelematic

Expands metal forming expertise


Albéa has announced the acquisition of Eyelematic, an expert in metal parts, plastic injection, decoration and assembly. The purchase allows Albéa to integrate metal forming into its range of capabilities.

“This acquisition fits perfectly with Albéa’s development dynamics,” said François Luscan, president and ceo of Albéa. “Our ambition is to construct a solid global platform for growth. We are exploring acquisition opportunities to offer our customers high added value by strengthening our presence in emerging countries and widening our product range through the integration of complementary fields of expertise.”

The integration of the three Connecticut-based Eyelematic plants brings the number of Albéa sites to 34 globally.
