Alberto-Culver buys skin care brand from P&G

Alberto-Culver Company has acquired the worldwide rights and trademarks to “iconic” US skin care brand Noxzema from The Procter & Gamble Company. Under the agreement announced today Alberto-Culver, which manufactures products including TRESemme, Alberto V05 and St Ives, will be responsible for the Noxzema brand in the US, Canada and parts of Latin America. P&G will continue to operate its existing Noxzema business, which includes shave care, antiperspirant/deodorant, body wash and body soap, in parts of Western Europe.
