Armani Beauty named official beauty sponsor of 83rd Venice Film Festival

The luxury beauty brand will spotlight its new Dolci Makeup Blush at the event in Italy in September, as well as a new fragrance set to be revealed in August

Armani Beauty has been named the official beauty sponsor of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival which is due to take place from 2-12 September.

The luxury brand will provide the make-up services across the prestigious event in Venice, Italy, including for the celebrities who will be in attendance.

Armani’s Dolci Makeup Blush – a new multi-use cream-to-powder blush that is said to embody a playful, sensorial charm –  will be spotlighted on the red carpet, along with Vertigo Drama Mascara and Prisma Flash lip balm.

The annual film festival will also play host to Armani’s new fragrance which is due to be revealed in August.

A programme of activations around the event will celebrate a “new chapter in the fragrance universe, highlighting confidence, determination, and authenticity”, Armani Beauty said in a statement.

Armani Beauty will also present the Audience Award – Armani Beauty, Venezia Spotlight, at the festival.

Venezia Spotlight is the festival’s competitive section dedicated to new trends in the world of cinema,”presenting a selection of works that aim to demonstrate innovation and creative originality”, the statement said.

L’Oreal-owned Armani Beauty is the make-up and skin care arm of Georgio Armani.

The fashion house has strong ties to the film industry, with costumes appearing in films such as The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Wolf of Wall Street and American Gigolo.
