Hurricane Sandy forces New York based company to postpone until 1 November


Avon Products has decided to postpone its third quarter earnings release and webcast, originally scheduled for today, as a result of the impact of Hurricane Sandy on New York City. The company is now hoping to hold the earnings webcast on Thursday 1 November 2012 at 8.30am EST and says it will issue a confirmation of the date and time once the weather situation has stabilised.
