Avon's Kropf to retire
Susan Kropf has announced her intended retirement from direct seller Avon after 35 years working with the company.
Kropf will step down from her dual duties as president and
chief operating officer of Avon on 1 July and will leave the company entirely at the end of 2006. She will not stand for re-election to Avon’s board of directors at the annual meeeting of shareholders in May.
In line with Avon’s global reorganisation, no successor will be appointed for Kropf. Instead, all business units and support functions will report directly to Andrea Jung, Avon’s chairman and chief executive officer.
