German supplier BASF has announced it is to increase the sales price for carbonyl chloride derivatives (CCDs) with immediate effect.
The price will be increased by 8 – 15% worldwide and by up to 20% in Asia, depending on the product and is the result of continuously high raw materials and energy costs, says BASF.
BASF’s CCD portfolio includes acid chlorides and chloroformates, which are primarily used to make organic peroxides and for the production of polymers.
