Bentley Organic is a new subsidiary of Thos. Bentley & Son Ltd, a company established in the 1800s to make soap for the textile industry and still run by the same family company on the same Leeds site in the UK.
Perhaps more familiar are the company’s two trading companies;) Bentley & Son Ltd’s trading groups Stephenson Group, producer of speciality soap bases and materials for personal care products, and Bradford Personal Care are well known names in the C&T business. But a new subsidiary of the company, Bentley Organic is now developing and producing in-house a range of affordable organic personal care products that have received Soil Association Certification.
“Our pledge to the consumer is that the range is of the earth not costing the earth,” says Jamie Bentley, founder of Bentley Organic. “Making the range more affordable helps consumers to make an environmentally sustainable choice by making our Soil Association Certified products more accessible to them.”
This positioning is reflected by the fact that the company has won a contract with Asda, which prides itself on providing quality products at affordable prices, and will stock the brand nationwide in the UK.
