Bioderma-DKSH form anti-counterfeit partnership

Alliance will target China fakes


An alliance forged in China between Swiss market expansion advisor DKSH and French specialist cosmetics group Laboratoire Bioderma will focus on fighting counterfeit products.

DKSH has been appointed the exclusive logistics partner for Laboratoire Bioderma in China, managing the company’s distribution services and sales made through pharmaceutical retailers. By offering consumers clear outlets for Bioderma’s products, the partners hope to fight counterfeit sales. Bioderma’s business unit manager Astrid Desmons said: “One of our primary goals for the new partnership is to safeguard our consumers, ensuring that they have access to safe authentic products.” Fakes cheat consumers and “at worst, phony products are potentially damaging to health,” she said.
