In it’s fifth year of supporting the Children in Need charity, Boots has gone one step further this year with the launch of two new ‘his’ and ‘her’ fragrances, Hug for Her and Hug for Him.

The two fragrances, the first for the charity, come in a gold coloured bottle and have a Pudsey (the Children in Need charity mascot) inspired phone charm. Said to evoke thoughts of a happy childhood the scent for her is said to give a smell of bath time with representing warm towels with the hint of baby powder, while the male scent has a hint of wood shavings and cola to represent a school pencil case.

Colette Phillips, charity marketing manager for Boots said:"This year BBC Children in Need is all about doing something different, so we thought we should follow that ethos here at Boots. Traditionally, all our Children in Need Pudsey products, which are sold to raise funds for the charity have been focused on children, but this year we thought we should do something different and create products that adults can also enjoy.”

Available at Boots stores the fragrances are priced at £10 with £3.50 of each sale being donated to the Children in Need charity.
