Boots Protect & Perfect nominated for high street Oscars
The No7 Protect & Perfect range from Boots is to vie for the title of Product Innovation of the Year at the Oracle Retail Week Awards, dubbed the high street Oscars. The range, which sold 150,000 units on launch day, will be pitted against Waitrose’s ‘essential’ products, Morrisons new quiche range, the Sony eReader, launched in collaboration with Waterstones, DIY retailer Focus, which introduced low cost DIY and gardening products as part of its PAYLESS campaign. Also competing is defending champion The Co-operative, which launched a scheme to reduce food wastage by printing storage instructions for fruit and vegetables on its loose produce bags.
