BUAV launches online resource for consumers

GoCrueltyFree.org lists products from humane brands

The British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) has introduced a comprehensive online resource for people who want to buy products free from animal testing. GoCrueltyFree.org lists products from nearly 400 companies around the world, certified under BUAV’s Humane Standards and carrying the Leaping Bunny logo.

The site allows consumers to search by product type and country, source Vegan and Vegetarian Society approved products, view individual profiles for each certified brand and find where to buy products online.

“We are proud to present this comprehensive, global resource for cosmetics and household products which are free from animal testing. GoCrueltyFree.org allows people wanting to live a cruelty free lifestyle greater choice and convenience than ever before,” commented BUAV chief executive Michelle Thew.
