Private equity firm puts beauty brand up for sale
Private equity company Carlyle Group has announced it is looking to sell skin care brand philosophy for $1bn, just three years after acquiring it for $475m, according to newswire Bloomberg.
Carlyle is said to be exploring several options and may even consider an IPO if no buyer emerges.
