Manicures and pedicures are more popular in Cork, Ireland than anywhere else in the UK and Ireland, according to sales data released by discount deal website LivingSocial.
Cork is well above national average when it comes to beauty treatments purchased through the site. After examining sales data over a year, the company noted that discounted beauty treatments make up 31% of all its sales in the region – 6% above Ireland's national average of 25%.
Other regions boasting high sales of these products included Limerick, which was a close second to Cork with beauty making up 30% of total sales. Beauty treatment sales were lowest in South Dublin, where they made up just 18% of overall sales.
