Founder of Agent Provocateur, Joseph Corré, launched the brand’s new fragrance, DD, in style last night with a catwalk extravaganza attended by the glitterati of the fashion and fragrance world.
DD, which is the original Agent Provocateur fragrance but with added Diamond Dust, is on counter from next month. The juice is presented in the classic Agent Provocateur flacon with a silver reflective lacquer finish and comes in a silver padded jewellery box.
Models, including new face of the brand, Daisy Lowe, sashayed down the catwalk at Dolce nightclub, wearing nothing but Agent Provocateur lingerie and the new scent.
Speaking to ECM magazine earlier in the day, Corré said he wanted to get across the glamour and the luxury of diamonds with the launch: “I want women to wear this fragrance and not only smell great but enjoy the sparkle that the diamond dust gives their skin. The DD name stands for the diamond dust that is in the scent and also the buxom glamour and feel that wearing this scent evokes.
“When we design a fragrance we want it to be a scent which is around forever and is timeless. That is why with DD we have returned to our signature scent, because customers go back to it time after time. At Agent Provocateur we think a scent is for life and not just for a year or two.”
