Cosmetic counterfeit seizure in Le Havre
French customs officials have seized over 12,000 items of counterfeit perfume in the port of Le Havre. They were concealed in a container reported to have come from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) being transported to the Caribbean. Most of the items were toilet waters labelled as Guy Laroche or Dior. The estimated value of the cargo was about €400,000.
