Coty has signed a licensing agreement with Italian brand Tonino Lamborghini for an undisclosed sum. The company's intention is to launch a men's fragrance line throughout Europe and Asia next spring with later plans for its release in North and South America and the rest of the world.

Steve Mormoris, svp global marketing, Coty Beauty, explained that the deal would enhance its men's fragrance portfolio: “The Lamborghini name embodies power, luxury, class, sophistication and style. These same characteristics will be noted in the new scent.”

While Lamborghini ceo, Valerio Melloni, spoke of his company's plans to enter new markets: “Coty is a key partner for the Tonino Lamborghini brand extension project.”
