Galeries Lafayette, the French luxury department store chain, has shuttered its first flagship store in China after more than 13 years. 

The store, located in the Xi'dan area of Beijing, closed on 27 May, with Galeries Lafayette claiming declining sales for its closure, according to a report by Euronews.

A Galeries Lafayette spokesperson told Cosmetics Business that
