Gattefossé has developed a new active ingredient claimed to target cellular dynamism and reinforce the strength of the dermis, helping to fight the signs of ageing.

Gatuline In-Tense stimulates the biomechanical functions of the fibroblasts, helping to enhance density and firmness in the skin.

The active contains a concentrated oily extract taken from the upper part of the Spilanthes acmella plant, said to be rich in alkylamides.

Tested in vivo at 2%, the active is claimed to smooth the skin’s microrelief from the first application, with a 50% reduction in the wrinkled surface. After 28 days the results are said to be even more profound.
