Sales restrictions on skin whitening products and ingredients


German consumer protection officials have warned of sales restrictions on Ivory Coast skin whitening products, EU alert service RAPEX has reported. These include the G&G brand Dynamiclair Lightening Beauty Crème; Body White brand body clearing gel and HP.3 body clearing oil; and Bio Claire lightening body cream. All had excess glucocorticoid clobetasol propionate, breaking the EU cosmetics directive. Meanwhile, Estonian authorities have banned Russian hair care product Antisedin from the brand Dve linii over lead content.
