Catherine Womersley acted as Head of Buying at Sephora UK from June 2020 to April 2024, and was part of the strategic team behind the retailer’s dramatic UK return in 2023 – 17 years after it exited the British market. 

In this exclusive Q&A, Womersley shares her secrets to becoming stocked with Sephora and talks us through the company's UK bricks-and-mortar strategy. 

What is your job role with Sephora?

I have been with the company for seven years and started my journey as Key Brand Manager.
