Glossier celebrates You Fleur fragrance launch with immersive experience in Paris

The beauty brand took the French capital by storm to showcase its latest scent, which taps floral notes and can be layered with the original Glossier You fragrance

Glossier hosted an immersive pop-up in Paris, France, to showcase its new fragrance, Glossier You Fleur.

‘The Wonder of You’ experience ran from 28 to 30 March at 116 Rue de Turenne, Galerie Joseph in the French capital.

The event featured purple petals and flowers, as well as an AI-penned personalised poem in response to each visitor’s expression and posture. 

Guests could shop a curated range from the Glossier collection including limited edition merchandise as well as have their fragrance bottle engraved.

Fleur is the latest fragrance launch from Glossier and is a floral scent that builds on its original Glossier You scent.

It has top notes of mineral salt accord, heart of sheer osmanthus, apricot skin, ylang ylang and cashmeran, along with a base of ambrox.

“I crafted this composition to capture the glowing warmth of sunlight as it gently glides over velvety, sun-kissed skin,” said perfumer Dora Baghriche.

“What emerges is a captivating floral fragrance that feels both intimate and radiant.

“A scent that reveals different facets of its character, just as you reveal different aspects of yourself.

Fleur and the original You fragrance “share the same musky base note that wears close to skin, true to you” and can be layered together.

A separate activation in New York City, US, saw a giant bottle of Fleur appear at Astor Place where visitors were able to sample the fragrance ahead of its launch on 27 March.

The fragrance comes in two sizes – 50ml and travel-sized 8ml – and is available to buy from Glossier directly and at retailers Sephora, Space NK and Mecca.

The make-up brand launched two fragrances last September – Gossier You Rêve and Doux. 

Rêve is a lush, dreamy gourmand fragrance that opens with buttercream, followed by a heart of plum butter, toasted almond, iris and creamy white sandalwood. Ambrox provides a warm, musky base. 

Doux is described as “soft and serene”. Top notes of sweet violet move into a blend of palo santo, frankincense and smokey myrrh, heightened by a warm, musky base driven by Ambrox.
