HBA has launched the conference programme for its upcoming Global Expo, to be held at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York, 9 -11 September 2008.

The programme, which will offer information on the latest trends and product development information for the cosmetics, fragrance, personal care and well-being industries, will be divided into three sections – marketing, technical and naturals – with over 200 speakers and 50 conference sessions.

The keynote address at this year’s show will be from skin care specialist Dr Nicholas Perricone, who will provide an insight into anti-ageing and inflammation.

The marketing programme will offer 25 sessions that provide the latest information on marketing, strategic brand development, packaging, design and display. Several new sessions will be introduced this year including “Skin health today”, a live radio broadcast, “Making your packaging the supermodel that gets into every magazine”, “Merchandising: How to create a compelling experience for consumers” and “Beauty influences and color trends”.

“HBA is committed to being at the forefront of the educational process and no other event provides the variety, depth or breadth of this year’s curriculum. Attendees will walk away with unprecedented information and insight that will lead them on the way to professional and product success,” said Jill Birkett, event director, HBA Global Expo.
