Since hands and nails are on show all the time, Juvena (Beiersdorf) says they need as much, if not more, care as the rest of the body. That’s why the Swiss company has extended its Juvedical line into hand care.
Juvedical Renewing Hand & Nail Cream contains the same Skin Nova technology as the rest of the line. This matrix is said to create the ideal environment for skin cells to flourish. The light cream claims to firm the skin on the hands, improving its structure, increasing its elasticity and calming irritations. It also contains SPF15. When applied regularly round the nail bed, Juvena says the cream also fortifies soft nails.
The company has also introduced a limited edition face mask. Juvenance Vitamin Mask contains Power Mix, a combination of vitamins A, C and E and pro-vitamin B5 which together promise to support the skin’s regeneration and delay the formation of lines and wrinkles, boost the skin’s defence mechanisms, protect against uneven pigmentation, moisturise, fend off free radicals and soften and calm the skin. The mask can be used as a pick-me-up for tired skin or an intensive anti-ageing treatment.
