German consumer goods giant Henkel has announced that it is recovering from a difficult start to its fiscal year, as it reveals its Q3 results.
Henkel ceo Kasper Rorsted said: “In the third quarter we were able to continue our positive performance of recent quarters. We have achieved excellent results in both our Laundry/Home Care and Cosmetics/Toiletries divisions where performance has exceeded the previous quarters.”
Although sales were down by 7.3% to €3,485m, operating profit was up by €191m to total €290m. Rorsted added: “The encouraging results registered in this last quarter reflect both stabilisation in our markets and our programmed on structural and cost alignment.”
