Henkel posts positive results

Henkel announced strong results for fiscal year 2006 with total turnover of €12.74bn, a rise of 6.4% on the previous year. Organic sales growth, i.e. sales from existing businesses, exceeded that of the previous year at 6%. In the C&T sector, total sales amounted to €2.86m, a growth of 8.9% with an organic growth of 4.1%.

Chairman, Ulrich Lehner, cited the widening of its portfolio and its focus on market expansion as reasons for the company's success.
