The Chinese premium skin brand is now sold at Douglas


Chinese premium skin care brand Herborist (Shanghai Jahwa) has entered the German market through beauty retail chain Douglas. The brand, which is built on a philosophy of merging traditional Chinese herbal extracts with western science, is looking to grow its European footprint.

Herborist made its debut in the European market five years ago through Sephora's flagship store on the Avenue des Champs-Elysees in Paris, France. Since then, the brand has expanded to markets including Denmark, Italy, Poland and Spain, exclusively through Sephora’s network of stores.
