Spanish fragrance manufacturer Idesa Parfums has signed a worldwide licensing agreement to develop and market fragrances with singer Alejandro Sanz.

The first fragrance line is slated to launch this autumn in Spain, followed by an international roll-out in all Latin American countries and other markets.

Sanz is one of the most recognised pop singers in Latin America and has sold more than 21 million copies of his album, Viviendo, as well as being awarded 14 Latin Grammy music awards.

This is the seventh such licensing agreement that Idesa has undertaken. It already holds the licensing rights to develop and market fragrances for Mandarina Duck, Armand Basi, Angel Schlesser, Joaquin Cortes, Women'secret and David Bisbal, as well as holding a cosmetics licensing agreement with Anne Moller.
