India’s Emami has eyes for UK and South Africa

Personal care company Emami Ltd is eyeing acquisitions of personal and health care companies in the UK and South Africa and plans to enter the baby products sector by the end of this year, according to director Aditya Agarwal, who added that negotiations with UK and South African firms are at an advanced stage. The company expects sales growth of 20-25% in 2008-2009 and we plans to boost sales through new launches, brand extensions and power brands.
