UK cosmeceutical brand Ingenious Beauty Ultimate Collagen+ will run a crowd funding campaign on Crowdcube through to 24 September.
The brand, created by CollTec, aims to raise £100,000 and put funding towards different parts of its fledgling business including marketing, social media and PR.
The brand's founders told Cosmetics Business they are also planning to develop further products under the Ingenious Beauty brand.
Ingenious Beauty, which launched in 2015, has forecast end of year 2019/2020 sales of £7.3m.
The brand was in development for ten years and is said to be the only cosmeceutical on the market that offers a blend of 100% natural triple actives including keto-carotenoid astaxanthin.
Ultimate Collagen+ has an international patent application pending
The additive-free supplements are claimed to reduce fine lines by 26% in 40 days and formulated for maximum absorption.
Skin radiance, including boosted vitality of hair, lips and nails, is also said to be dramatically enhanced, according to the brand’s website product description.
The product has an international patent application pending and additional products in the pipeline.
Equity crowdfunding platform Crowdcube is selective with the brands it allows to campaign on its website.
The company said only 5% of UK brands have been approved to apply for seed funding through Crowdcube.
