The government of Karnataka, a state in South West India, is offering incentives including tax relief schemes to new businesses under the health and wellness umbrella, in a bid to boost the state's tourism in key sectors.

The plans, outlined in the Proposed Karnataka Tourism Policy 2014-2019, are to be offered to new set-ups in a wider effort to revitalise the state as a destination for different types of tourism, including health and wellness.
