YSL Beauté generates about 64% of its sales in the perfumes sector and currently has almost a dozen men’s and women's products on the market. A new women's perfume has been announced for next September.

Marc Menesguen, director general of L'Oréal's luxury products division, said the acquisition of YSL Beauté had enabled the group to improve its sales by some 15% as well as adding in a 4% share of the world market, putting L'Oréal in the leading position in top-end cosmetics and perfumes as well as in the major stores and duty-free segments.
