Estée Lauder says its three new Face Primer Plus products extend the wear of foundation and transform skin by evening out skin tone, correcting colour and brightening.
Face Primer Plus Smoothing Matte Base contains retexturising silicones to even out enlarged pores and fine lines and a breathable polymeric complex. It contains a spherical oil absorber to mop up and control excess oil, volatile silicones to help buff the skin and improve application properties, phytosteryl as an emollient to protect against dehydration and vitamin E.
To correct, Face Primer Plus Illuminating Base uses ginger to brighten, while Face Primer Plus Color Correcting Base uses a yellow hue to counteract redness. Both contain Gransil, a re-texturising silicone said to refine the skin’s surface in preparation for foundation.
