US beauty brand Mary Kay has identified a new antioxidant compound claimed to reduce the damaging effects on diesel exhaust particles (DEP) on human skin cells as part of new research on how pollution affects the skin.

According to the brand, pollution is having a detrimental effect on the human body, affecting the body both internally and externally.
