LVMH Fragrance Brands has announced that CEO Romain Spitzer will be taking on a new role as President and CEO Fragrance Group LVMH Beauty.

Spitzer will continue to work as CEO of LVMH Fragrance Brands, overseeing both Kenzo Parfums and Parfums Givenchy.

However, the new position will see Spitzer expand his responsibilities, taking on leadership of the Fragrance Group LVMH Beauty, which includes Loewe Perfumes, Maison Francis Kurkdjian and Acqua di Parma.

Spitzer’s main focus will be on talent development and operational synergies across the maisons.

In a statement posted on LinkedIn, LVMH Fragrance Brands shared further insight into what Spitzer’s new role will entail, such as “fostering synergies in go-to-markets, operational execution, manufacturing, and people development”.

Stéphane Rinderknech, Chair and CEO LVMH Beauty Division and LVMH Hospitality Excellence, said: “Romain's expanded role, building upon his impressive 30-plus years of experience in beauty, reflects both his strong leadership and the strategic importance of leveraging synergies across our fragrance brands portfolio.

“His deep understanding of the market, consumer trends, and brands, honed over decades, will be invaluable as he guides the fragrance group to continued success."

Spitzer shared the news on LinkedIn, posting: “I am very proud and honoured of this new opportunity; looking forward to [working] for unique and remarkable maisons and with extraordinary talents."
