Partnership will see activities expanded in South of Brazil

Mauser Group has signed a joint venture agreement with Bressan Inovações Ambientais in Brazil in order to expand its reconditioning activities in the southern region.

The venture with Mauser Group, and its subsidiary National Container Group (NCG), is due to start in May and will offer customers washed, rebottled, trip-leased, and laundered IBCs as well as Mauser’s Total Recollect services including a recollection of different packaging solutions.

Bressan Inovações Ambientais, an industrial packaging company based in Canoas, close to Porto Alegre, Brazil, is a family-owned business that reconditions steel drums, plastic drums, jerry cans, IBCs and produces Post Consumer Resin (PCR).

Ricardo Goldenberg, director at NCG Tankpool, the Brazilian NCG subsidiary, said: “Expanding the reconditioning activities in the South of Brazil is in line with Mauser’s strategy to help customers combine economy with ecology. Due to this joint venture, our local customers not only benefit from advanced packaging solutions through the synergies between Bressan, Mauser and NCG Tankpool, they will also profit from new services such as rebottling.”
