Multinationals exhibit at Beautyworld Middle East

First Spa and Salon Management Summit held alongside event


The sixth edition of Beautyworld Middle East opened yesterday in Dubai, UAE and has already been described as ‘buzzing’ by organiser Epoc Messe Frankfurt. This year’s event, which takes place from 24-26 May at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, features 750 exhibitors from 46 countries including internationally recognised brands such as L’Oréal Professional, Wella Professional, OPI and Essie.

For the first time in Beautyworld’s history, a conference – the Spa and Salon Management Summit – is taking place alongside day the show today. According to the organiser, over 100 salon professionals have signed up to hear experts discuss topics including product licensing rules and regulations, legislation governing business operations, revenue generation and the optimisation of existing resources.

The sixth edition of the Walk of Beauty, which features live, on-stage demonstrations of hair dressing and make-up trends dominating the region, was also officially inaugurated yesterday. Meanwhile, the Salon Educators area, in association with MyHairDressers.com and L’Oréal Professional, presented techniques used to create the latest catwalk styles.
