This new customer service offers clients online booking, a text message reminder the day before an appointment and e-newsletters tailored to the specific preferences of the client. Although this system has been used in hair salons for a few years, this is the first time a nail bar in the UK has utilised this type of program.

Initially, Nails Inc hired Tangent Labs to remodel its e-commerce system and direct marketing strategies. Earlier in the year, the program helped boost online sales up 17% in only one month. Sanjay Vadher, Account Director at Tangent Labs, forecasts an additional 25% boost in the future and insists that the new system will not add to the daily workload of salon staff. Simone Newell-Black, head of retail at Nails Inc said: "This new online booking and text reminder service will further help our clients fit in a manicure around their busy schedules."

This system was implemented with the modern British woman in mind, and its online booking and text message reminder service offers a quick, no-hassle approach to nail care.
