Nash Oils has announced it has become the exclusive distributor for a new essential oil called Fragonia.

The pale yellow oil is harvested and steam distilled from the Agonis fragans shrub, which is found in Western Australia, and has a fresh cinelic odour. It is claimed to possess many anti-microbial properties.

Its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties are said to help aid the healing of cuts, bites and stings, and it can also be added to existing herbal blends to add more depth, particularly for masculine fragrance accords.

“Many people appreciate the anti-bacterial properties of oils like tea tree but they are put off by the almost astringent aroma,” says Emma Nash of Nash Oils. “Fragonia shares many of these anti-bacterial properties and has a very pleasant scent.”
