Specialty raw materials supplier Rohm & Haas is now offering Neolone CapG, a proprietary broad spectrum preservative based on a blend of methylisothiazolinone and caprylyl glycol. The product is specifically designed to offer broad spectrum control, ease of use and application in global formulations. Neolone CapG is recommended for use at up to 1.1%. At this level the product provides 100ppm active ingredient of methylisothiazolinone, which is the limit approved by international regulations. Formulation guidelines state it should be added as the last ingredient and at the lowest temperature.
