French fragrance collective Nez has published Le Grand Livre du Parfum, a Big Book of Perfume that aims to debunk the received wisdom about perfume’s history, ingredients and production methods. 

“Our main goal at Nez is to raise awareness of perfume in a more historical, scientific and sociological/artistic way,” Dominique Brunel, head of publicity at Nez, told Cosmetics Business .
