NewJeans singer Hanni has been named as Gucci Beauty’s latest brand ambassador.
The appointment is an expansion on the K-pop star’s existing partnership with Gucci, having served as an ambassador for its fashion line since 2022.
Hanni, née Phạm Ngọc Hân, was featured in a promotional video applying the fashion house’s upcoming Rouge à Lèvres Mat lipstick, 509 ‘Rosso Ancora’.
Separate campaign imagery also showed the Vietnamese-born idol sporting the brand’s Palette de Beauté Quatuor and Stylo Contour des Yeux Kohl Eyeliner Pencil.
The 19-year-old will sit alongside other Guci Beauty brand ambassadors including Thai actress and model Davika Hoorne and Miley Cyrus - who fronted Gucci’s Flora Fantasy campaign.
“Hanni, the latest Global Brand Ambassador to join Gucci Beauty, embodies the core values of the House with her authenticity, confidence, and charisma,” Gucci Beauty said in an Instagram post.
Hanni’s expanded role with the fashion house comes after she was named as Global Make-up Ambassador for Armani Beauty in February 2023.
The star was pictured wearing My Armani To Go Cushion foundation in shade 2, as well as the Lip Maestro lip lacquer, as part of the campaign’s debut imagery.
“Hanni is a very young artist with a great expressive power and an irresistible and captivating individuality: a contrast that I find interesting,” said founder Giorgio Armani at the time.
“She has personality, which for me is the most fascinating trait, always.”
NewJeans was formed by Ador, a subsidiary of South Korean multinational entertainment company Hybe Corporation, in 2022.
The group is composed of five members including Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin and Hyein, which released their debut single Attention in July 2022.
