Whether it’s a nude gloss or bright matte, lipstick is considered by many to be one of the most empowering, and essential, tools in a woman’s make-up bag.

Archaeologists estimate the product was created more than 5,000 years ago when the Ancient Sumerian people crushed gemstones, beetles, fruit as some of the ways to create the colourful powder for their lips and cheeks.
