Avon forced to shut down its UK website after cyber attack

The cosmetics company owned by Natura & Co has had to temporarily shut its Avon UK website used by its representatives

Avon has been forced to shut down its UK representative website nearly a week after suffering a cyber attack.

The direct selling company’s dedicated representative login portal at avon.uk.com currently says ‘We’ll be back soon’, explaining that the website is unavailable.

The 9 June attack is known to have affected the cosmetics brand’s IT systems and operations, which Avon confirmed in a newly-released statement shared with Cosmetics Business: “Avon has experienced a cyber incident that has interrupted some of its systems and partially affected operations.
