New ayurvedic-inspired hair care brand Fable & Mane has introduced its debut range.

The brand is the brainchild of brother and sister duo Nikita and Akash Mehta, and uses authentic Indian plant extracts including native herbs and spices to help customers hydrate and rebalance their hair and mind.

The new HoliRoots Ritual collection features a shampoo, conditioner, mask and hair oil (from £22), and is blended with a range of ingredients including tiger herb, coconut creme, turmeric, banana and mango seed butter.

The product’s formulas are inspired by the founders’ Indian roots, as well as centuries-old beauty fables and rituals.

In conjunction with its first-ever collection, the brand has launched its Fable Fund, which will donate to wildlife charities that restore habitats to endangered big cats.

“The wild world is in desperate need of our solidarity,” said Akash Mehta.

“We are becoming increasingly out of sync with ourselves and out of balance with the natural rhythm of our earth.

“We are healthy when we are connected yet the beauty industry has come so far away from its roots, leaving us in a rat race to do everything to live longer but not live better.

“Saying and doing are two different things, it is important that every brand leaves this world more beautiful and each CEO earns their stripes for the planet.”

The products are available via fableandmane.com.
